His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, .Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam has consented to send messages of condolences to His Excellency Xi Jinping, President of the People's Republic of China, and His Excellency John Lee Ka-chiu, Chief Executive, Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, as well as to the families of the victims following the recent fire at Wang Fuk Court residential complex in Tai Po, Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.​
